Debbie Panell
Debbie Panell is a renowned freelance writer living in rural North Carolina. She focuses primarily on parenting and family topics, but also does extensive web content and online articles.
She has a weekly parenting column at www.galmag.com called "Adventures in Mommyhood". This column is a lighthearted look at her views on parenting and humorous anecdotes she FACES with her own two children.
Her website features some of her writing samples and a brief portfolio of work she has done. Her blog is a compilation of her thoughts and 'musings'. She sometimes offers advice on hiring freelance writer, sometimes gripes AbOUT her neighbors and sometimes tell silly stories. She refers to it as "an online diary that everyone can read, so nothing too juicy!"
Debbie Panell was born in California and moved to North Carolina when she was seven years old. She attended Douglas Elementary School, Carroll Middle School and in High school attended her First Year at Sanderson High School, and completed the rest of her high school years at Millbrook High School.
Initially, Debbie started writing as a part time hobby. When she divorced, she turned her hobby into a full time business, so she would not have to place her children in daycare.
Debbie runs a successful resume writing business alongside her freelance work and parenting column. She is working on her first novel which should be completed sometime in early 2008.
