David Wolfe (vegan)

David Wolfe, born August 6, 1970 near New York City, is a raw vegan. Wolfe hosts health retreats and expeditions into nature. He is an author the President of The Fruit Tree Planting Foundation, the goal of which is to plant 18 billion fruit trees.

Wolfe often talks AbOUT the power of a positive attitude, hence the term "the best day ever." He has turned this Panglossian attitude into a multi-million dollar marketing strategy -- selling seminars, books, and specialty foods and supplements known as "superfoods" to a particularly eager and adventurous sector of the health food movement.

David Wolfe is also a minister of the Essene Church of Christ.

Dietary claims

Wolfe has written and said in InterViews that he eats mostly fruit nuts, vegetables, sprouts, seeds. His favorite foods include: CACAO, goji berries, durian, blueberries, eggfruit, mamey, celery hearts, maca, incan berries, purple corn extract, pure synergy (superfood BLEND), coconut oil, hempseed oil, macadamia nuts, parsley, romaine hearts, mint leaves, jackfruit, New Zealand honey, celtic sea salt, algae oil (a rich source of DHA), MSM, seeded grapes, wild coconuts, peruvian olives, avocados, good-quality flaxseed crackers, lemons, spirulina and New Zealand bee pollen.

Controversy

David Wolfe has repeatedly been threatened by the FDA , so all of his advise is given only as a minister of the Essene Church of Christ.
