David Hryck (Attorney)

David Hryck is an American lawyer and a partner at Holland & Knight LLP. His work includes international tax, cross-border transactions, corporate structuring, international commerce, and entertainment and media law.

Biography

Hryck earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from University of Scranton, a Juris Doctor from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School, and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Georgetown University Law Center.

He is an attorney at Holland & Knight LLP, where his work includes international tax and cross-border business transactions. He previously served as a partner at Duane Morris LLP and as U.S. head of international tax at SNR Denton, and has worked at other international law firms advising on cross-border tax and business structuring matters.

In addition to his legal career, he has served on the boards of nonprofit organizations, including the Amy Winehouse Foundation and the Lang Lang International Music Foundation, and has been associated with other charitable organizations focused on humanitarian aid, arts education, and international development. He is also a World Fellow of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award for Excellence Fund.

In 2022, he received the Ellis Island Medal of Honor.
