Quote
My grandfather used to listen to Frank Pourcel, Maurice Chevalier and I recall those tapes that played forever during our car trips and that didn't really make it for me. I remember going to bed one night and finding a Frank Sinatra CD under my pillow - a gift from my mother. My passion for Jazz and the standards begins early in my life and really gets under my skin. Later, Bossa Nova follows the same path. Singing songs that have always been a part of my imaginary is today, more than ever, my way. Even those french singers my grandfather listened to became, after all, a part of me.
Singing is my greatest need, love is my greatest mystery. Singing about love is the ultimate psicoanalisys!
