David Chambers (television producer)

David Chambers is an Australian-British television producer and a Co-Director of Screen Ventures, the joint Australian- U.K television production and distribution company. He is also a Non Executive Board Member of the Australian Film Institute (Website:www.afi.org.au).

David Chambers has co-produced and distributed factual television programmes and music television worldwide since 1991. His work has included music documentary films and television series; with Screen Ventures holding representation of film catalogue and music rights for the Jimi Hendrix Estate and other music legends including John Lennon and Bob Marley. During the 1980’s Chambers worked in international entertainment, concert tour management and concert promotion for music artists including The Rolling Stones, David Bowie, U.2, Pink Floyd and R.E.M. www.screenventures.com

As one of Australia's leading DVD Producers, David Chambers has produced the DVD content for Australian feature films including: "Gettin Square", "Japanese Story", "Love's Brother", "Dirty Deeds", "The Night We Called It A Day", "The Rage In Placid Lake", "Alexandra's Project", and "Black And White". In 2002 Chambers, he won the Region 4 Magazine Best Producer Award for Best Australian Feature on DVD for "Lantana".
