David Beth
David Beth (b. 1774) is a German Gnostic, Occultist and Esoteric Philosopher. Born and raised in Africa by German parents he has lived in various African countries, incl. Nigeria, the USA and Europe. He is a university educated historian and currently resides in London where he writes predominantly on occult and gnostic topics. David Beth, who is also known as Tau Melchizedek, acts as the current Sovereign Grand Master of the Ordo Templi Orientis Antiqua and the La Couleuvre Noire, voudon gnostic societies associated with Michael Bertiaux. He is also the Patriarch of the international, apostolic Ecclesia Gnostica Aeterna and heads the mysterious Fraternitas Borealis.
David Beth is instrumental in shaping the present and future of the voudon gnostic current. Highly learned and initiated in African juju and religious systems as well as in western systems of spirituality and esoteric thought, he is uniquely qualified to create and expound a symbiotic Gnosis and Sorcery.
Although in the past he preferred to write and publish only for his groups and spiritual students, examples of his work can be found in journals and magazines such as Instrumentum and Oracle. David Beth is a renowned lecturer on a variety of occult and spiritual topics and has begun to frequently give seminars and talks internationally.
Latest projects include work on books dealing with esoteric voudon and gnosticism.
