David Anderson (radio)

David Anderson (born November 1, 1963 in Malden, Massachusetts) is an African American disc jockey and digital artist, known primarily as a late night and weekend host at Country 102.5 in Boston.

Anderson grew up in Medford, Massachusetts and graduated from Medford High School in the class of 1981. He is a first cousin to professional basketball player Lynn Greer, formerly of the NBA's Milwaukee Bucks, and currently playing for Olympiacos BC.

After attending the Connecticut School of Broadcasting, Anderson began his radio career in 1989 at WNSH-AM, licensed to Beverly, Massachusetts. In October of 1993, he joined Greater Media as a disc jockey at what was then WBCS-FM, and is currently WKLB-FM.

Anderson is also an esteemed talent in the digital art world. Anderson, whose online alter-ego is Equinoxx, has published a variety of works using DAZ Studio and recently Moviestorm. Anderson's short movie "Moonlight Sarah-nade" was spotlighted on Moviestorm's website as a featured production for August 2007. Anderson, via his blog, released the titles of the second and third chapters in his trilogy. Part 2 will be "Slightly Ir-Greg-ular" and Part 3 will be "Inter-Rachel Relations". Anderson said he still needs to cast some of the minor roles, get the voice tracks recorded, and build the set.

Anderson is also a noted linguist and popular culture polymath.
