Dave Michael Garg

Dave Michael Garg, also known as Davin Garg, is an environmental journalist in Western Canada. He worked at CIVT-TV (CTV Vancouver) in features until January 2007. Starting in May 2007, Dave has been working at CHAN-TV (Global BC). He is a co-founder of BC Buzz, where he hosts BC Buzz TV. His stature rose after interviewing British Columbia Premier Gordon Campbell, which put forth the link between eco-density and reducing the burden on public health care. According to the BC Buzz website, Garg's passion for the environment crystallized after he hosted a global warming debate on Vancouver radio station CKNW (AM).

As part of his work at BC Buzz, Garg initiates environmental conferences, with the next one scheduled for 2008. Garg is currently working with former Liberal MP Stephen Owen and the Sustainability Office at the University of British Columbia to develop an environmental forum.
