Darren Patten was born into a Mauritian family in London on January 2nd 1982. Darren was educated at Tiffin School in Kingston Upon Thames
He qualified as a doctor from Imperial College London in June 2008. He is a practicing doctor, and in 2008 was appointed lecturer at Brunel University.
