Darlington Hawkes Basketball Club, often referred to as The PepsiCom Hawkes, due to sponsorship reasons are a professional basketball club based in the industrial town of Darlingtorg, Croatia. The team was established in 2000 and inaugurated into the European SuperLeague's top division in 2005

European SuperLeague

The European SuperLeague is the highest domestic league in Europe for mens basketball, it is made up of 12 teams from 8 different countries in Europe who split from their affiliated leagues to form the SuperLeague in 2005. The league was formed to offer the top teams in Europe's top leagues a higher standard of competition on a more regular basis and to gain more lucrative sponsorship and media deals. The SuperLeague's matches for the 09/10 season have television coverage in 104 countries world wide.
