Darla Givens
Darla Kaye Givnes Born on June 21, 1966 (Age 41) in Clovis, California Joined the KXTV News10 Weather Team in December 1999 as the Morning/ Afternoon Meteorologist. In August 2001 Darla had switch positions with Monica Woods to weather the weekend newscast. She works from Wednesday-Friday as the Meteorlogist on News10 Midday and early friday mornings for the friday give away during News10 Good Morning and Saturday/ Sunday News10 at 5, 6, 11pm.
Darla got her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Dominguez Hills. And later completed a program in Broadcast Meteorology at San Francisco State University. Darla started her career at KFSN-TV ABC 30 Action News in Fresno from 1991-1996 and KTXL-TV FOX 40 News in Sacramento from 1996-1999.
Darla currently resides in the Mather Field area east of Sacramento county with three sons and a husband. Darla is also ACTIVE at Harvest Christian church in Elk Grove, California.
