Daren Barker
Daren Charles Barker (born June 26 1964), stage name "Snuck-a-Peek" was lead guitarist and creative visionary for The Ran Project Part Deux, a Minneapolis-based prog-rock band. Barker's career began in the early 2000s, releasing the "Snuff It Out" EP in 2000 followed by his September 11th tribute album "Rise Up". In 2004, Barker joined forces with Benjamin Thurn to form The Ran Project Part Deux, in honor of the original band. Barker and Thurn's relationship was a love/hate affair. During a 2006 tour in Utah, the duo, well-noted for fondness of exotic spirits, spawned the contemporary hit "Yukon Grille", a milestone for both the band and Barker as a producer. However, tragedy struck in late 2006, as Thurn's [...] orientation became tabloid fodder. With their hits behind them, the modern day Lennon/McCartney of Thurn/Barker parted ways. Recently, Barker accepted a job at UHS Medical Supply Company and currently resides in Chaska, Minnesota. During his free-time, he enjoys a tall, smooth glass of imported Absnithe.
