Dannik Jerriko

Dannik Jerriko is a fictional character from the Star Wars universe. He first appeared in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope as one of the many characters in the cantina scene. He is seen smoking a pipe at a table. His smoking is disturbed when his table is damaged in a fight started by two "dangerous men". Ponda Baba and Dr. Evazan. Dannik is 1006 years old during the historical Battle of Yavin.

Anzati kill by drinking 'soup', the substance beneath their victim's brain, making them popular assassins. Dannik is supposedly betrayed by his first master, at one period in the Star Wars saga, in one of the Tales books. The short stories he is included in are both authored by Roberson, in anthologies edited by Kevin J. Anderson. People who Jerriko has attacked are Yarna, the Weequay, Phlegmin, and he wants to kill Han Solo, to drink his fresh, pure soup, and Jabba, for the very same reason. He appears hardly menacing, except for his eyes, and leaves small traces of blood in a victims nose when he kills them, otherwise leaving them unmarked, which is also the signature of an Anzat attack anywhere in the palace. Dannik is he never talks to anyone, and the stories he is in are all from his point of view. There is also no talking in his stories, and all he describes his murders with are "pleasure/pain, pain/pleasure, his, hers, its, and mine, always." He needs the soup to sustain his soul. There is no reason so far that it is called soup. Very little information other than this is known AbOUT Jerriko, and all of the facts are found in the anthology Dannik is included in. he is one of those characters that only that one author, Roberson, has written about, and since she made him an Anzat, which was not there in the script of Starwars, it just shows a pipe-smoking alien, then only her Starwars works will show more information.
