Daniel Vallely
Daniel Vallely is a designer, illustrator, comic book writer/artist, photographer, filmmaker, musician, and producer.
Vallely's first published work (described by Neil Gaiman as "all shadows and light") was in Saviour, written by Mark Millar and published by Trident Comics in 1989. Vallely only drew one and a half issues before setting all the pages alight. Vallely's next major work was with comic writer Grant Morrison on Bible John-A Forensic Meditation which was serialised in Crisis #56-61 in 1991. His work was highly acclaimed for its complex use of collage and mixed media, although this was some of Vallely's least favourite work. After a few more appearances, Vallely moved out of comics and spent some time as a photo journalist in war-torn Kuwait.
As a musician and songwriter Vallely has been in The Mixers and The Fauves Vallely currently sings and plays guitar with The Void and is a member of DHK.
