Dancing Robot Music
George James and Andrew John Collins form Dancing Robot Music mostly notable for their 3D ELEKTRO Raves which involve massive 3D Anaglyph visuals alongside an Electro and House fuelled DJ set.
Formed in early 2008, the pair pushed Georges 3D idea he had thought up in 2005 but had previously found no one to help make it work.
After meeting they played their debut 3D ELEKTRO Rave show at Northumbria Students Union in Newcastle alongside Mathew Horne, The Fratellis and Alphabeat as well as members of the Skins cast. They continued to play big venues such venues as Matter with Tinchy Stryder, Caspa and Rusko, Skream, Benga and NDubz, Beachbreak Festival, Koko and Mission in Leeds alongside Hot Chip, Shy FX and Kano.
The pair also produce and have remixed tracks for artists such as Hot Chip, Gorillaz, Friendly Fires, Major Lazer, Example, Man Like Me and Bloc Party, their remixes have been championed and aired on radio by such DJs as Annie Mac, Mairead Nash and Tom Robinson as well as hitting the top 5 in the Hype Machine charts
Dancing Robot Music Radio received 25,000 subscribers in its first week of series 1 and series 2 has now finished but can be found on iTunes.
Dancing Robot Music are closely associated with Rough Hill and Full Moon and in the summer of 2009 a compilation CD was released by Rough Hill mixed by Dancing Robot Music and available exclusively for those who attended any Rough Hill event..
They also reproduced the 8 Bit Trip by Rymdreglage from Sweden in Anaglyph 3D..
Dancing Robot Music have an exclusive clothing range with ARCK Clothing which features TShirts designed by renowned and elusive designer Andrew Kent.
Currently whilst playing numerous shows around the UK, Dancing Robot Music are planning Take Me To Your Leader, A new club night launching in April in London, the night will include huge headliners and the worlds first Polarized 3D ELEKTRO Rave.
