Dan Kleban

Dan Kleban is the co-owner of Maine Beer Company and was a candidate for the Democratic nomination for the 2026 United States Senate election in Maine.

Early life and career

Kleban dropped out of college several times before earning a degree from the University of Southern Maine in 2004. He would later graduate from the Boston College Law School in 2007.

Maine Beer Company

Kleban worked in Portland, and later opened a brewery. He was head of the Maine Brewers' Guild and was in the National Brewers Association.

Senate campaign

In September 2025 Kleban announced his candidacy for Senate. He campaigned on education and housing.
