Damian de Miró
Damian de Miró (born September 26, 1982) is a German actor, therapist, police officer and federal agent.
Early life
No information is available about the years of his childhood.
Professional Training
After completing vocational secondary school for Business and Administration, he completed an apprenticeship as a transport specialist (specializing in security, psychology and safety) at Deutsche Bahn in Frankfurt am Main (now called DB Sicherheit). Additionally, he also attended technical railway school, studying the subjects of Psychology, Law and Emergency Measures, which he completed with perfect marks.
Among other activities, de Miró worked in personal security (Gloria Gaynor, A.K. Swift).
He completed training as an officer with the city police and was a squad leader at a municipal police department in the State of Hesse. He then made the move from municipal service to federal service and joined German Federal Aviation Authority, Department of Federal Aviation Security (it is subordinate to the Federal Ministry of the Interior (Germany) and Federal Police Germany), achieving the rank of patrolman third class (three of five blue stars, police rank: "Obermeister"; Division of Transportation Security and Intelligence).
While training with the EU Aviation Security Administration, chaired by Rad Olschewski, he gained profound knowledge of Aviation Security and was qualified for the rank of EU Auditor.
2009 he completed studying the subjects of Psychology and gradueted Master of Psychology (specializing: Psycho pharmacology) and social therapist.
Film and Television
Damian de Miró has a contract with the Cologne filmpool Film- und Fernsehproduktion GmbH and can be seen in numerous TV productions, pilot projects and motion pictures.
Work as an Author
De Miró writes and regularly publishes poems as well as professional articles on psychology, security and police matters.
In his psychological works, critics accuse him naivety, indoctrination, and of presenting arguments of little value to psychology that are pseudo-rational.
The poetry book “Schwarzer Wind” (Black Wind) ("Dramatik des Suicidum" - death poems, jisei no ku) was published in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Belgium in December 2008.
In his dark and archaic poems, he generally implements a moral lesson, a protagonist who is a winner in defeat and elements of resignation in a world that is insuperable and hostile for his protagonist.
Criminal Proceedings and Public Life
- On 12/10/01, he arrested a judge after he and his partner approached her because of her dog that was not on a leash. After a heated dispute, and after she refused to leash the dog and identify herself, and then ran off, she was tentatively arrested. This led to an “uprising” among the dog owners of the City of Eschborn.
- On 06/12/01, the group Black Community Support Germany turned to the City of Giessen’s Lord Mayor, Manfred Mutz, with a formal complaint on behalf of a client after an incident that occurred in the City of Giessen in which there was an alleged case of massive discrimination against a woman of African origin. According to Black Community Support Germany's description, there was physical aggression by two policeman (de Miró and his partner) in which said woman’s court documentation granting her the exceptional right to remain in Germany was allegedly ripped apart by de Miró and/or his partner. The concerned woman was also allegedly insulted and physically attacked, humiliated, her child allegedly traumatized and her property wantonly destroyed. The concerned woman was allegedly insulted as well and threatened with deportation out of the Federal Republic of Germany.
Black Community Support Germany:
“[...] attacked a black mother, humiliated her, traumatized her child and wantonly destroyed her property because she was not willing to surrender it.”[...]
After numerous charges and investigations, proceedings were held at the Wuppertal State Court in mid-2007 with de Miró as the primary defendant along with other parties accused of coercion, harassment, assault, founding a criminal organization and trafficking narcotic substances. The charges against him were dropped in exchange for a EUR 11,400-payment to the foundation Deutsche Kinderkrebshilfe (German Children’s Cancer Aid). It remains unclear whether the contact between de Miró and Brad Renfro was discussed in court or if it was part of the narcotics trafficking charge, as the public was barred from the hearings.
Private Life
In 2007, he lived with a psychiatrist in Brunswick for six months.
Little is known about the details of his private life or love life. He was married, and the marriage was ended on 18/11/08. It is suspected that de Miró became a father in the summer of the 2008.
De Miró is known in his private circles as being introverted, lonely, timid and sensitive.
He has been taking antidepressants, benzodiazepines and neuroleptics for years.
He is (was) allegedly addicted to drugs and benzodiazepine and has undergone psychiatric treatment multiple times (he himself has an official license to practice psychotherapy and he completed studying the subjects of Psychology and gradueted Master of Psychology and social therapist.)
Damian de Miró and Brad Renfro
Damian de Miró was in contact with US actor Brad Renfro, which was not known until after the latter’s death. It is assumed that Renfro received narcotic substances from de Miró. On 18/02/08, de Miró’s legal representatives stated that they had had “telephone” and “personal” contact and classified the relationship as being a “friendship.” It was said that de Miró would like to “communicate his great sorrow over Renfro’s death.” It was further stated that de Miró “did not supply Brad Renfro with narcotic substances at any time and appealed to Brad Renfro about the dangers of consuming narcotic substances.” De Miró and Renfro can be seen acting wildly in a bar in a 9-minute video on the Internet portal Youtube. In an interview 2008 de Miró tells of his life, Brad and drugs.
