Dale Mitchell (ice hockey)
Dale Mitchell (born April 9, 1989 in Etobicoke, Ontario) is a Canadian ice hockey player currently with the Windsor Spitfires of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL).
Playing career
Mitchell was chosen 74th overall in the third round by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft. He attended Streetsville Secondary School in Mississauga, where he played for the Streetsville Tigers. Mitchell signed an entry level contract with the Maple Leafs on May 4, 2008, and was subsequently sent down to the Marlies during their 2007–08 AHL playoff run.
Mitchell returned to the OHL in the 2008–09 season with the Windsor Spitfires. He had previously played in the OHL with the Oshawa Generals.
