Daisy Valls
Daisy Valls (1945) is a Cuban narrator, editor, and poet.
Life
Academia
Daisy Valls spent some years in Santiago de Cuba at the Escuela de Letras de la Universidad de Oriente, where she was also first employed by publishing articles and as a student aid.
In 1969, she moved to Havana. At the local university she earned the Licenciatura en Lengua y Literaturas Hispánicas in 1973.
Broadcasting and Articles
She directed the children's radio program Ensayo in Cuba, broadcasted by CMKC from 1967 to 1968.
Daisy Valls has published various articles. In Cuba, they appeared on Granma, Letras Cubanas, Revista de Literatura Cubana, and Casa de las Américas. Her works have also been published in other coutries, such as Revista de la Universidad de Cuernavaca in Mexico and Exu in Brazil.
Current Career
Daisy Valls is currently a spanish teacher in the proud bilingual school of Coral Way K-8 Center Teaching 6th and 8th grade Spanish
