Daejeo Bridge
Daejeo Bridge () is a road bridge under construction in Busan, South Korea. It is being built across the Nakdong River to link Sikman-dong in Gangseo District and Samnak-dong in Sasang District. The bridge will be AbOUT 8.24 kilometers long, have four lanes, and is planned for completion in 2030.
The Construction project of the bridge began in 2006 and was designated as the first metropolitan traffic congestion improvement project by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. Its feasibility was confirmed in April 2010 through a preliminary study by the Ministry of Strategy and Finance. The project, originally planned as a private sector initiative, was converted to a public sector project in 2012. In 2013, 5 billion won was allocated for design work, and the basic design was completed by 2015. The final route was determined in 2016 after consultations with the Nakdong River Basin Environmental Office.
The project was delayed after the city submitted the Environmental Impact Assessment (Main Draft) in 2019, which contained false and incomplete information.
