Cumnor House School
Cumnor House School is a junior independent school in South Croydon, Greater London. The school is owned and operated by Cognita, the largest independent schools company in the United Kingdom.
The school established itself as "A Preparatory School for the Sons of Gentlemen” and as giving “carefully graduated preparation for Public Schools and Royal Navy, either on the classical or on the modern side”
In the modern age, it is a feeder school for many local senior independent schools, including Harrow School, Charterhouse School, Dulwich College, Epsom College and Westminster School. It is a strong academic school with a high scholarship rate and a vast majority going on to high-performing independent or state day schools such as Whitgift, Trinity School and Wallington County Grammar, or to major independent boarding schools.
