Cromulent Shakespeare Company
The Cromulent Shakespeare Company is a non-profit theater company based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The company focuses on producing either classical texts or modern plays based on classical texts and themes. The "Cromulent" in the name is a made-up word originally used in an episode of The Simpsons and refers to the company's often irreverent treatment of classical works. Cromulent Shakespeare made its mark by performing free outdoor productions in the parks of Minneapolis, and, in recent years, they have added indoor shows to their season. Cromulent Shakespeare was founded in 1998 by Tim "Chief" Jopek and Bucky Fay.
