Croisière avec GIRL

Croisière avec GIRL is a 360° surround video projection that premiered at La Gaîté Lyrique Paris 21 June 2011, as part of the Public Domanie skateboard culture exhibition. Directed by Federico Vitetta, the installation was composed of four separate movie files played in sync, projected in the La Grande salle at La Gaîté Lyrique using 8 projectors to mimic a seamless 360° surround projection. Viteta devised a custom built camera rig, consisting of 6 GoPro HD hero cameras mounted to a circular framework on a tricycle, to achieve the necessary angle captures needed to create a seamless 360° action movement from screen to screen.
