CRCC Asia Ltd. is an international company with offices in the UK, the USA and China which provides China-related professional services. It is the holding company for China Consulting Ltd. and China Recruitment Ltd.
Founded by Daniel Nivern and Edward Holroyd Pearce, the company provides due diligence, strategy recommendations and practical advice to firms looking to enter the Chinese market or currently operating in China. The company also runs a China Internship Program which organises internships for individuals at companies in various market sectors.
Company history
China Consulting Ltd. and China Recruitment Ltd were founded by Daniel Nivern and Edward Holroyd Pearce in August 2006. The companies were both run from London offices with a small team of British and Chinese employees.
China Consulting Ltd. was designed to offer strategic assistance to British SMEs wishing to enter the Chinese market and initially focused on projects in the insurance and education sectors. China Recruitment Ltd. provided internship opportunities and Mandarin language courses for UK students looking to gain experience in China.
In November 2007, the companies opened an office in Beijing, expanding the team with new UK and Chinese managers.
In December 2008, CRCC Asia Ltd was registered in Hong Kong and acquired a full holding stake in both China Consulting Ltd. and China Recruitment Ltd. The company received investment and a new shareholder, Thomas Kirkwood.
Recent developments
In October 2009 CRCC Asia LLC was incorporated. At the same time, the company's US office was set up in order to provide a point of contact for customers from the Americas, and as a sales outlet for its Beijing internship programs.
CRCC Asia Ltd. was nominated as a finalist in the 'Most Promising New Business in China' category at the British Business Awards China, organized by the British Chamber of Commerce in China.
