CPP Studios GmbH is a global acting advertising agency, with its Headquarter in Offenbach am Main, Germany. Beside the normal activities of an advertising agency, where the service business is dedicated to creating, planning and handling advertising for its clients, CPP Studios GmbH enlarged its portfolio in creating events and consulting in multimedia technology.
Business Activities
Events are one of the core units in which CPP Studios is doing its business. Additional they develop a concept that covers everything from styling, room design, programmes, technical implementation to logistics and organisation.
Productions: are subdivided in four main fields to satisfy a wide range of customer needs. They are focusing on: Print and Screen Design, which includes Brochures, packaging, mailings, flyers, invitation cards, Websites, templates, presentations, user interfaces on monitors, touch screens or LED displays. 3D Animations to visualize objects, installations or exhibition concepts. Core Concept and Management Style
The CPP Studios Event GmbH is a medium sized company. The company works according to the categorical imperative. This means in a figurative sense that a company should be made up to a place, where one would like to work! The core business is mainly based on the equality of all employees, which means in detail that all employees, beside the business leaders, receive the same salary. Furthermore the working days and holidays are not regulated, there are no existing rules regarding the working attitude and they don’t have a hierarchical structure. Beyond that, there is a complete POS transparency for all employees. To appear as a normal acting company and to not confuse their clients, CPP Studios Event GmbH provides a “normal” structure to the outside. However, this does only mean that the person who has an idea for a project, acts as the project manager of this task. Gernot Pflüger mentioned this as “factual seniority”. To ensure flexibility and equality, every employee has to cope at least two application areas. Within the company the manner is very casual and everybody has to be on a first-name basis. To relax beside the work the recreation room has a pool table and if any clerk has a high workload and e.g. has to work the whole night, they have the possibility to have a rest on a bed set up for such cases. Furthermore Gernot Pflüger holds the view, that most improvements are based on the ideas of employees, because the intelligence of a group is much more efficient, than the intelligence of a singular person/business leader. As the CEO stated the environment of the media branch is one of the hardest industry sectors in Germany and the concept survived many difficult changes in this market environment. Concluding to his vision and the art of doing business, Gernot Pflüger believes that his successful way could also be adapted by large companies with a larger staff up to 20.000 employees.
