Comparison of archive repair programs
The following article lists the available programs for fixing a specific type of archive that has been corrupted (for example by downloading via the internet). Although some file archivers also have the function to repair certain types of archives, it is not always clear which type of archive can be repaired With It. This list intents to clear this up, and also mention dedicated repair programs (that may not be able to decompress or compress the file type they can repair).
