Communist Party of India (Marxist–Leninist) Revolutionary Initiative

The Communist Party of India (Marxist Leninist) Revolutionary Initiative, or briefly as CPI(ML) RI, was a communist party in India, formed by a breakaway faction from Communist Party of India (Marxist–Leninist) Red Star, in December 2023 in Chennai.

They elected a 24-member Central Organising Committee, and a 10-member Core Committee, with Pradip Singh Thakur as Secretary.

In September 2022, during the 12th Party Congress of the Communist Party of India (Marxist–Leninist) Red Star, 52 delegates out of 260 registered delegates broke away and established Revolutionary Initiative.

On 5 March 2024, the party along with Provisional Central Committee, Communist Party of India (Marxist–Leninist) and Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) Praja Pantha underwent a unity conference and formed Communist Party of India (Marxist–Leninist) Mass Line.
