Commercial high school (Japan)
A , called or shōgyō for short, is a Japanese high school which concentrates more on the teaching of business and commerce knowledge and skills rather than the college preparatory courses taught in most Japanese high schools. Most students who graduate from a commercial high school directly enter the work force rather than going to college. Most commercial high schools will have "shōgyō kōtō gakkō" in the name of the school.
