Colot

Colot (or Collot) was the name of a family of French surgeons in the 16th and 17th century, distinguished for their skill in operating on kidney stones.

Surgeons

  • Laurent Colot, doctor to Henry II and Charles IX.
  • François Colot (1630–1706), the last of a long line of distinguished lithotomists.
