Ashfaq Hussain is a Pakistani author and a retired military personnel who served in the Pakistan Army as a Colonel. His seminal work, the Gentleman series - five books on his experiences while serving in the Pakistan army - was a huge hit in Pakistan's bookstores. He is also renowned for his criticism of General (retd.) Pervez Musharraf for his misadventures during the Kargil War.
