Collin James Anderson
Collin James Anderson is an athlete from Mahtomedi, Minnesota, holding several significant ultra-endurance state records. At the age of 19, Collin ran in the F.A.N.S 12 hour race, the only 12 hour endurance running event in Minnesota. Given this, Collin broke the previous state record for the longest 12 hour distance run by someone 19 years of age or under by running 65.73 miles. In August 2007, on his 20th birthday, Collin became the youngest ever finisher of the Lean Horse 100 mile Endurance Run, finishing in 23 hours and 9 minutes (The current women's world record for 100 miles is 13 hours and 47 minutes held by American Ann Trason). Since Lean Horse is the only 100 mile run in South DAKOTA, that makes Collin the youngest person and to run 100 miles straight in South Dakota by at least 4 years. Although recently this performance has been called into question as Anderson's name has been indicated in testimonies involving performance enhancing substances. Anderson accused his massage therapist of spiking his bengay with PEDs (rBGH derivatives). Anderson's massage therapist was unable to be reached for comment.
