Collegium Augustinianum
The Collegium Augustinianum is an international research institute and graduate school of philosophy and theology in the Augustinian tradition. Established in 1999 in Paris, France, its College of Fellows include some of the world's leading scholars in the thought of St. Augustine of Hippo and the Augustinian tradition. Its graduate school offers research degrees in philosophy and theology, including the S.Th.D., Ph.D., S.Th.M., Ph.M. and, in exceptional cases, the Ph.B. The Collegium Augustinianum Graduate School of Philosophy and Theology has offices in Paris, France; Orlando, Florida (US); and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (US).
The college is dedicated to the thought of Augustine of Hippo, the Augustinian tradition and Augustine's influence on medieval, modern and contemporary thinkers, and especially on existentialism and phenomenology. Some of its distinguished fellows include Craig J. N. de Paulo, Patrick A. Messina, Roland J. Teske, S.J., Tarcisius J. Van Bavel, O.S.A.(deceased) and Frederick Van Fleteren, current Chair of St. Augustine.
