College Swimming League
The College Swimming League (CSL) is an American collegiate swimming competition league founded in December 2025 by Robert Kent and Kyle Sockwell, with additional support from the International Swimming League (ISL). The league was designed to increase visibility, generate revenue, and provide full coverage of travel and lodging expenses for participating collegiate swimming programs across the United States.
History
The establishment of the CSL was unveiled in December 2025. Robert Kent, former general manager and owner of the ISL's Toronto Titans, serves as CEO alongside COO Kyle Sockwell, a former Arizona State swimmer, to create a high-profile dual meet framework for participating NCAA swimming and diving programs.
In May 2026, the league announced details regarding its eight-meet competition schedule, which includes six regular season matches and two postseason meets featuring ISL-style events such as Skins and Super Skins. On June 1, 2026, the league finalized its full 12-team roster for its inaugural 2026–2027 season. All member schools finished within the top 25 at the 2026 NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Championships.

The inaugural season consists of 12 participating universities representing three major athletic conferences: the ACC, the SEC, and the Big Ten.
