Colibri Real Estate
Colibri Real Estate, formerly Real Estate Express, is an American online real estate school based in St. Louis. The school provides pre-licensing, exam preparation, post-licensing, continuing-education and broker-licensing programs in multiple jurisdictions. By 2024, it had educated more than 520,000 students and provided continuing education courses in 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia. It is part of professional education conglomerate Colibri Group, which is active in six industries.
History
Colibri Real Estate was founded in 1996 as Real Estate Express as a fully online school, for state-approved pre-licensing courses for prospective real estate agents. During the 2010s, it became part of Colibri Group (formerly McKissock LP).
In July 2018, Real Estate Express acquired Allied Business Schools, a California-based online real estate educator founded in 1992, to expand its operations to California and Texas. Later, Colibri Group acquired Superior School of Real Estate in North Carolina and The Institute for Luxury Home Marketing.
In late 2022, Real Estate Express was renamed as Colibri Real Estate.
Operations
Colibri Real Estate delivers courses through a self-paced online platform that combines text lessons, video, interactive quizzes and live instructor Q&A. Its catalogue covers state-specific pre-licensing curricula, broker-licensing pathways and a continuing-education library compliant with individual state renewal rules.
