Coffee News® is a weekly advertising publication delivered to restaurants, coffee shops, pubs, and small businesses. Created by Jean Daum, it began in 1988, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada and quickly grew and expanded to international status.
It purports to be the world's largest restaurant publication, published in 55 countries, with over 700 editions in the United States alone, as well as one of the fastest-growing franchises in the US as ranked by Entrepreneur® Magazine:

This section features interesting news stories from around the world. This section usually contains 4 short paragraphs, briefly summarizing the topic.
Quoteable Quotes
This section contains inspirational quotes from various authors. There is usually 2-4 quotes in this section.
What's Happening
This section feature local annoucements in the area, for example, club meetings, job oppourtunities, real estate, e.t.c. The number of annoucements varies, but each annoucement is limited to 40 words or less.
Trivia
This section contains 5 trivia questions based on general topics such as pop culture, sports, and literature. The answers are revealed on the other side of the page.
Your Weekly Horoscope
This section features horoscopes for all zodiac signs. It also gives lucky numbers for the week.
Did You Know . . .
This section contains facts about general topics like actors, landmarks, animals, and other topics. Did You Know . . . contains 4 facts.

Find the Coffee Man Contest
Some franchises operate a local contest, "Find the Coffee News Man", whereby a very small picture of "the Coffee News Man" is hidden in one of the ads. Readers are invited to spot the man and fill out an entry form saying where the man was located, in exchange for a small prize (which could range from a coupon for a free dinner from a local restaurant to a free vacation package or even cash up to $100).
