COEUR

COEUR (Competence in European Entrepreneurship) is a project between higher education institutions in Germany (University of Applied Sciences Mainz), Poland (University of Economics, Wroclaw), Portugal (ISCTE Business School, Lisbon), Scotland (Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen) and France (Burgundy School of Business, Dijon). It was founded in 2004. The project has the goal to get students from Europe in touch with entrepreneurship, innovation and business creativity. Once in a year (since 2004) there is a workshop held.

  • 2004 at the University of Applied Sciences Mainz (Germany).
  • 2005 the 2nd COEUR in Scotland.
  • 2006 in Wroclaw (Poland).
  • 2007 in Lisbon (Portugal).
  • 2008 in Dijon (France).
  • 2009 in Nanfang College of Sun Yat-sen University (China)

Course of the workshop

Once in a year there is the workshop held in September in one of the partner university. The students achieve training in entrepreneurship, business creativity skills, project management, presentation techniques and teamwork. They have to talk in English, because the students are split up in groups with partners from every university.

COEUR Mundus

Because of the successful development of the project, there are also universities from outside Europe are interested in. Because of that the COEUR was held 2010 in China and 2011 in Brazil.
