Cirex
Cirex is a project from Puerto Rico-based on electronic metal with dubstep and industrial influences, embedded with guitars, created by Eric Ortiz.
Formed in 2005 as a side project to another consortium (Neuttro), eventually decides to change his real name to Cirex (which means "Eric" spelled backwards with an "X" at the end, symbolizing the Christian cross). In 2009 he released his first album "The Lab", mostly instrumental, performed, recorded and produced under his own supervision.
In 2012 Cirex released an album entitled "Nietzsche is Dead", which on this production was made with the cooperation of Eduardo Paniagua on the drums, recognized by his band 'Puya'.
Music of Cirex appears on 'The Horror Vault 1" filmed on Denmark, and a small fraction on 'Taken'
Cirex participated the first Latin Rock Awards held in Puerto Rico with Puya and Vivanativa among others.
In February 2014 Cirex releases two singles, "Cromosomas" which is available on online stores again with Eduardo Paniagua on drums, this time with a free download. In August 2014 Cirex Launches EP entitled 'Camera Obscura'
