Cinergy Entertainment
Cinergy Entertainment Group, Inc. (doing business as Cinergy Cinemas & Entertainment) is an American entertainment chain with movie theaters, arcade games, escape rooms, axe throwing, and bowling alleys. The chain has 11 locations across Illinois, North Carolina, Oklahoma, and Texas.
As of October 2025, Cinergy operates nine locations in Texas, Oklahoma, North Carolina, and Illinois. A tenth location, Cinergy Tall City in Midland, is expected to open by the end of 2025, and an eleventh location in Corpus Christi is planned for 2027.
History
Cinergy was established in 2009 by Jamie and Jeff Benson.
In 2016, the company began land purchases and adding new locations throughout Texas, including Amarillo, and Odessa, which were open during 2017.
In November 2017, Cinergy announced their first out-of-state location in Tulsa, Oklahoma, which later opened in April 2019.
In 2022, Cinergy added a location in Wheeling, Illinois.
In August 4, 2025, Cinergy announced that a new location in Midland, Texas to open in later 2025.
In September 2025, Cinergy announced plans for a new location in Corpus Christi, Texas for 2027.
