Cilantro Culinary Academy provides skill or vocational training in culinary arts.

Background and history

The Cilantro Culinary Academy was established in 2006 at Bandar Bukit Tinggi, Klang to provide professional skills and vocational training in culinary arts at Foundation, Diploma and Advanced Diploma levels. Due to rapid expansion, the academy shifted to a new campus location at USJ Subang Jaya in 2009.

Teaching

Students receive theoretical and practical knowledge in food and beverage, and in related aspects such as pastry and baking, food handling, safety and development, hygiene, costings and budgeting, kitchen management, and nutrition.

Upon completion of their studies, they will be awarded with Foundation from the Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran (JPK) or formerly known as the MLVK and their Diploma and Advanced from City and Guilds of London Institute, UK.
