Chu-lin

Chu-lin (초린) is a character from the drama Dae Jo Yeong (TV series), played by Park Ye-Jin. She is the daughter of Khan Li Jinzhong and wife of Li Kaigu but once Dae Jo Yeong's girlfriend. She has one son, Geom. She is a girl warrior, pretty and courageous. Chu-lin later kills herself by drinking poison after she sees that Li Kaigu, her husband has been killed by Dae Jo Yeong in a fight.

Meet with Dae Jo Yeong

When Dae Jo Yeong is captured by Li Zinchung and tries to break out into a cell, is caught by Li Kaigu. Dae Jo Yeong holds Chu-lin a captive (putting a knife into her neck and saying, "Give me a horse and I shall free her). Li Kaigu follows his orders but he puts Chu-lin captive, running away with her so they wouldn't able to harm him when he is caught again. Chu-lin, on the way, is bitten by a snake and Jo Yeong sucks the poisened blood of her which makes him get ill. Although an enemy, Chu-lin feels sympathy for him and take care of him. With this, they get to know each other.
