  • Xuzhu participates in the Zhenlong Weiqi game and solves the puzzle by luck.
    • Wuyazi transfers 70 years worth of inner energy to Xuzhu and names him as the new leader of the Carefree Sect before dying.
  • Xuzhu interrupts the meeting of the Lords of the 36 Caves and 72 Islands. He rescues Tianshan Tonglao without recognising her true identity.
    • Tianshan Tonglao teaches Xuzhu some of her skills during their escape from various enemies pursuing them.
    • Xuzhu and Tianshan Tonglao hide in the ice cellar in the Western Xia palace to escape from Li Qiushui.
