Chris Kadillak
Chris Kadillak (born Mark Gonzalez February 16, 1985) is an Mexican American professional wrestler. Kadillak is best known for his work with NWA Pro Wrestling and their Southern California associates; Alternative Wrestling Show, SoCal Pro Wrestling, Mach One Wrestling and particularly the Empire Wrestling Federation.
Career
After growing up as a huge wrestling fan, especially for Shawn Michaels, Mark Gonzalez began training at the Empire Wrestling Federation’s School of Hard Knox under legendary trainer and referee Jesse Hernandez. Under the name Chris Kadillak, he debuted in December of 2007 against Jeremy Jaeger, who would go on to be his main rival for the next two years. In addition to Jaeger, Kadillak had a series of matches in his rookie year against Ryan Taylor, JT Blackstar, Roger Ruiz, Espiritu Infernal and Devon Willis. Kadillak quickly became a favorite everywhere he went and was named 2008 Rookie of the Year by both Empire Wrestling Federation and SoCalUncensored.com.
Once Jeremy Jaeger won the EWF Cruiserweight Championship, Kadillak found himself in a series of matches for the belt. Unfortunately Jaeger kept getting himself DQ’d from their matches to keep the title. After not being able to capture the belt on his last chance, Kadillak got the best of Jaeger by defeating him wearing the costume of local wrestler El Vigilante. When Vigilante won the tile, Kadillak unmasked in the ring to the delight of the EWF fans. Kadillak and Jeager’s rematch for the title was a ladder match that was voted EWF 2009 Match of the Year in which Kadillak finally vanquished his main rival.
After a series of title matches with Johnny Yuma, Kadillak found himself outnumbered in his battle against Mando Vega’s K.O.S. of Brandon Parker, Tim Lovato and Aiden Riley. Kadillak eventually lost the title to Parker and is currently feuding with Extreme Loco for Loco’s EWF American Championship.
