Chitra Group of Institutions
The Chitra Group of Institutions are one of India's largest privately owned network of Institutions. It is run by Chitra Educational Society.
History
It was in 1984 that Mr. Suresh Kr. Sachan, a graduate from Kanpur University laid the foundation of this Group. It was founded in 1984 with 700 students on its rolls. Today, the Chitra Group of Institutions has over 5,000+ students and teachers.
Functions
Special annual days include Teacher's Day, Environment Week, Children's Day, Sports Day, and Independence Day. Independence day is celebrated by a march past by all the houses of the school, with the house captains holding their house flags and leading the students. Functions such as skating showcase and singing of patriotic songs by the choir group of the school are also held. The election for school cabinet is conducted every year in the month of July and all the children, sixth class onwards, are allowed to vote and choose their leaders.

Infrastructure
The Institutions is divided into wings and is separated. One of the buildings contains the Montessori sections and is a little away from the main building. The main building has Four floors, and is divided into blocks. One Block contains all the junior classes (Montessori-10), the home science lab and the biology lab. Second Block has the senior classes (classes 11-12), the chemistry and the physics labs, and the office.
The Institutions has a vast ground which contains a basketball court, a football field, cricket nets, volleyball court, GYM and a tennis court. The sports room is located in a corner of the ground and has the option of several indoor sports like carom, chess and table tennis.
Apart from these the Group has a library with 1000+ books, a dance and music room and a NCC () room. A well maintained garden is also present in the front part of the school and is used to practice Bonsai and vermi-composting.
Community
The schools have been active in community activities like maintaining local cleanliness, health awareness, rehabilitation work, medical camps, adoption of government school and serving the elderly adults.
Achievements
Among all Institutions in the region. The Group is also famous for its achievements in sports, in which the school has several times won the inter-school competition in cope of development.
* Mr. Suresh Kumar Sachan was awarded by Ram Naik Governor of State Uttar Pradesh, Banwari Lal Joshi Ex-Governor of State Uttar Pradesh, Ram Naresh Yadav Governor of State Madhya Pradesh.
The Institution has also taken part in International events and has also started several programs. It has been a part of various International Events. In recent developments, the Group also participated in the multiple events.
Contribution In the field of Cricket
Ankit Rajpoot/Ankit Singh Rajpoot is an first-class cricketer who plays for The Group's team and stands on the post of caption, He alsp plays for Uttar Pradesh in domestic cricket. He is a right-arm medium-fast bowler who made his debut during the 2012-13 Ranji Trophy. He picked 31 wickets in 7 matches in that season at an average of 18.He was recently signed by Chennai Super Kings. Making his debut against Mumbai Indians, he dismissed Ricky Ponting in his very first over. His match figure was 1/25 from 3 overs.
