Chirosaathi was a Bengali television serial which used to air on GEC Star Jalsha.
Plot
Chirosathi is a journey of two persons in love. It is AbOUT their life together and in separation, where everything except their unconditional love and belief changes as we travel through twodecades. The show revolves around a Hindu family in a Muslim dominated village. It is essentially a love story between Titas, a Hindu girl, and Ali, a Muslim guy, and how Phoolmama plays a mediator between The Two. The political turmoil in the 70s will also feature in the serial. The story begins in the year 1968 in Khirpai village, Bangladesh, where the villagers are still in shock with India-Bangladesh separation and a revolt is on its way. The story revolves around Kalikinkar's family. Hasan and Ali manage to deliver a package to Kali after protecting it from police. Kali is delighted after he unwraps a radio from the package. After learning about the outrage of the police on villagers, he appoints Ali as a bodyguard to his granddaughter Titas.
