Chinese Rock Paper Scissors

These are some basic instructions on how to play the classic Chinese Rock Paper Scissors Game.

You have a group of people standing in a circle.

All people have their hands together, one hand in a fist, the other hand covering the fist. This is the "Starting Position".

One person makes a ninja type noise, a high-pitched, drawn out "Whoaaaaaa...Yaa!!!" Upon yelling "Yaa!!!" they switch from the starting position into one of the 5 positions.

Here are the 5 positions:

Dragon - one hand in a cupped position, the other hand hovering over top of the cupped hand, symbolizing a ball of energy

Rabbit - both hands on each side of head, index finger and middle finger out on each hand, representing the ears of the rabbit

Bear - Both hands out in front, fingers stretched and curved like the claws of a bear

Preying Mantis - Both hands out to either side of body, elbows bent so wrists point at head, but hands pointing away from head

Snake - One hand out in front of the body making a snake-like head shape with the hand,with the forearm bent back like a snake AbOUT to strike, and the other hand cupping underneath the elbow

Precisely at the time the starting person yells the "Yaa!!!" part of "WhoaaaaYaa!!!" everyone in the circle switches to one of the 5 positions of their choice.

Now the one who yelled "WhoaaaaYaa" will look around the circle and if anyone went to the same position as his/hers, they are "out" (They sit down, and the circle moves inward to close the gaps).

Now the person to the left of the starting person yells "WhoaaaYaa!!!" and everyone switches to another of the 5 positions, and The New leader who screamed "WhoaaaaYaa" looks around and sits down anyone who did the same position as him/her.

Extra Rules:

* 1 * All persons may use ONE directional fake with the hands when switching from one position into another, but cannot go completely into one position and then switch to another. * 2 * If a person doesn't go into the proper position, or makes a position that looks to be halfway in between 2 different positions, they're out. * 3 * All persons are allowed to, instead of switching into a new position from their old one, may twitch their arms and remain in their same position. * 4 * The process of elimination continues until their is only one player left, who then wins, and a new game can be started with everyone back in.
