China Okasi

China Okasi is a journalist, entrepreneur and television personality. She is one of five sisters who all attended Ivy League universities: Columbia, Cornell, Harvard, Yale, and the University of Pennsylvania. She was the featured Democratic strategist on "Candidates & Crime," a very First Political hour on HLN's Nancy Grace.

Education

Okasi completed three Ivy League degrees in total. She attended Cornell University from age 16 to 19.

At age 20, Okasi was accepted into a Ph.D. program at Georgetown University, but left after a year. She completed two more master's degrees at the University of Pennsylvania and Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.

Career

Okasi modeled briefly after college. She is the cousin of America's Next Top Model contestant, Nnenna Agba.

As a formally trained journalist and commentator, Okasi has contributed frequently to the all-women "Power Panel" segments on Fox News show, America Live, as well as local and cable news shows, such as CNN HLN's Prime News, HLN's Joy Behar, CW11 Pix Morning News, and Fox News' Fox & Friends.

A serial entrepreneur, Okasi created several high-revenue new media publications derived from her multicultural background, serving as editor-in-chief. She launched yet another publication in 2012, called The Daily Mocha.

Okasi is also the founder of the firm, PennandPaper.com, which was profiled by The Washington Post Express.

While mainly a television personality, her print commentary has been featured in such publications as AOL Black Voices, BET, Loop 21, Huffington Post, MSNBC.com, Uptown Magazine, and Philadelphia Inquirer.
