Chiddingfold Football Club

Chiddingfold FC was established in 1889 making it one of the oldest football clubs within the county of Surrey. The football club is situated within the heart of the village at 'coxcombe lane'. The two main senior teams play in the Surrey intermediate League, and have done for many years now. Matches take place on both Saturdays and Sundays.

The club prides itself on being the an integral part of the village at senior, youth and veterans level. The club is the largest single community within the village and has met and achieved the requirements for F.A chartered status. The chiddingfold club colours are red and green.

The local Spicer family have traditionally played an integral part in running and organising the football club, and still do to this day. The running of the club on match days is made possible by volunteers and members of the community 'doing their bit', whether it be running the line or running the bar. The club is renowned locally for its fun and welcoming atmosphere.

One notable achievement in Chiddingfold FC's modern history was winning the 'Surrey County Cup' in the 1999/2000 season. On thae day, Chiddingfold beat SEELEC Delta 2-1, cementing a momentous day in the clubs history. Many members of those team members are still involved with the club to this day.
