Format

The Episodes appear online on video sharing and social networking sites like Bebo and Youtube. Currently 1 episode or video diary is simultaneously posted on both channels per week. The show is filmed in a variety of ways: weekly episodes are shot as a regular sitcom where Chelsey is oblivious of the camera. Chelsey also addresses her audience directly through her ‘What’s On My Mind’ video blog. The fast-paced nature of the production enables Chelsey to film up to the minute reactions to current affairs, breaking news stories, and celebrity gossip and scandal, as well as more personal monologues on her own friends and family.

Chelsey also interacts with real people within the video content. In one episode she attends a hip fashion event and mingles with fashion designer Giles Deacon, as well as model and fashion designer Charlotte Dutton. In one episode an effort to blur the line between fiction and reality, Chelsey attended a job interview at thelondonpaper and was interviewed by Showbiz Editor Luke Blackall. Subsequently thelondonpaper published a full page feature, written by Blackall, on his appearance in Chelsey : OMG!'' and about the upsurge in online TV withChelsey : OMG!'' as the prime example.

Episodes

The episodes follow a linear story line and structure. Due to the interactive nature of the blogs, Chelsey often asks her fans questions relating to the storylines, such as recommending places to visit in Scotland and asking for examples of British slang.

In the first episode Chelsey arrives in London having just graduating from college in America. An internship in a fashion based marketing company has been arranged for her, but this introduction to life in London proves to be quite a brutal one. Her fortunes fluctuate as she gets used to her new life and at times events seem to conspire against Chelsey with a number of obstacles threatening to derail her journey. Notably seen in the guise of her colleague Sasha, who's visible jealousy drives her to turn their boss against her.

Despite that, Chelsey is even more determined to succeed. And gradually it appears her fortunes are starting to improve, her boss begins to warm to her and she is sent on a trip to Paris to assist the hip fashion photographer Jens. However Chelsey's dream of finding the perfect Englishman keeps stuttering and her hapless attempts are often thwarted by forces beyond her control.

What’s On My Mind

The ‘What’s On My Mind’ video blogs are an opportunity for Chelsey to talk to her fans about any given subject in the world of pop culture / music / politics. Chelsey has touched on subjects including Miley Cyrus, Britney Spears, Halloween, The X Factor, The Hills, and Barack Obama.

Videoblogs can also be produced bespoke to other brands in order to provide content for different websites and secure editorial coverage. Bliss magazine’s website featured a videoblog of Chelsey reading a new issue of the magazine and commenting on various pages and celebrity stories.
