Charmaine Loh

Charmaine was born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She entered Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre and majored in dancing in 2008. At the start of her life, her prudishness led her to doubt her potential to be an actress. She was talent-spotted after appearing in a dancing competition in Australia in 2010. She was offered a general management contract by Stardust Promotion. In 2012, she debuted her acting career in Japan with her first movie, titled Travelers: Dimensional Police.

Career

When Charmaine was in her sophomore year, she played roles in dramas and movies. Since 2012, she has averaged one to two movie per year.

In 2011, Charmaine acted in her breakthrough role as Houka in the movie Travelers: Dimensional Police. On 2013 August 13, the movie was first broadcast on V-Cinema.

She gained recognition for her acting and singing skills. She received many endorsement deals for products such as Adidas and Karen Walker and invitations to appear before the public, including in commercial campaigns and variety shows.
