Propulsion is provided by a pair of two-blade propeller driven [[tractor configuration|tractor engines]] mounted on the wing. The cascade of blades and air scoop can be either deployed or not deployed in flight, and when they are not deployed, CY-105 operates just like any other ordinary fixed-wing UAVs.
